Welcome to CPDScanner! By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our service, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

Description of Service

We provide subscription-based access to an audio-only live stream of the Clovis Police Department scanner feed (the "Service"). This service is for personal, non-commercial use only.

Subscription Requirements

  • Eligibility: You must have a valid account and active subscription to access the live feed.
  • Account Sharing: Subscriptions are intended for individual household use only. Sharing account credentials with others outside your household is strictly prohibited.
  • Free Trials: We do not offer free trials. A 1-day subscription is available for those wishing to test the service.

    • Prohibited Activities

    You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Illegal Use: Using the service for any illegal activity or purpose.
  • Restreaming: Restreaming or rebroadcasting the audio feed to others, whether for free or for profit.
  • Recording and Sharing: Recording, transcribing, or sharing audio content without explicit authorization.
  • Circumventing Restrictions: Attempting to bypass account, geographic, or subscription restrictions.
  • Harmful Activities: Introducing malicious software or engaging in activities that disrupt the service.

    • Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

    Service Availability

    While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we conduct routine maintenance daily between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by technical issues, upgrades by the Clovis Police Department, or force majeure events.

    Privacy and Security

    We value your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

    Refund Policy

    Refunds are generally not provided except in cases where the service is permanently discontinued. In such cases, prorated refunds will be issued for unused subscription time.

    Limited Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for inaccuracies in the audio feed.
  • We disclaim liability for damages resulting from unauthorized access, service interruptions, or misuse of the service.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the subscriber for the current subscription term.

    • Termination of Service

    We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account without notice if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in prohibited activities. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

    Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New Mexico. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New Mexico.

    Modifications to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
